Disease X
In June of 2023, the Disease X Act of 2023 bill was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives. In August of 2023, the BBC reported a “new facility” at the Porten Down science and technology campus in Wiltshire, England (best known for chemical and biological warfare research), would start “preparing” for the emergence of a new “Disease X” virus.
